We are currently undergoing a transition and will be opening a new
retail location very soon. As a results, our store hours at our "old"
shop will be by appointment only. Please contact us with any questions.
Summer Kitchen Supplies, Inc came
to be partly out necessity. We enjoy raising our own produce, and also
partake in the fall harvest of wild game. These activities are an important
part of our lives. The down-side was the tedious peeling, dicing, slicing,
grinding and stuffing that went along with the processing. Since we
value our own wholesome food, but also value our free time, we scoured
the country-side for equipment that would remove the dread from processing.
We found these products from several different sources, but there were
few sources that carried both the vegetable and the meat processing
equipment. So we decided to become such a source.
Summer
Kitchen Supplies, Inc is
now your source for practical, functional, and economical equipment
that helps you to put up your harvest, and still have the time and
energy to spend with the kids. We only sell equipment that we ourselves
use and enjoy; and the enjoyment lasts throughout the year. An inexpensive
bean slicer transforms whole green beans into thin slices that blanch
in 1 minute, and are so tender when cooked that the kids ask for
seconds. The vegetable strainer transforms buckets of tomatoes into
puree, or apples into apple sauce, without peeling. Do you need 25
pounds of brats for the family reunion? Make them easily yourself
with an inexpensive food grinder and the 10 pound Dakotah Water Pack
sausage stuffer. Those “sun-dried” tomatoes
seem extra flavorful in January when you know that you dehydrated
them yourself for pennies from your own garden. The jerky or snack
sticks that you pass around as a winter snack are met with nods of
approval when they are home-made. There is something fulfilling and
rewarding about preparing and serving home crafted foods that you
raised or harvested yourself.
Please browse through our
products. This is not one of those gourmet “shoppes” selling
gadgets that make their way to the back of the cupboard. These are
tools that help to nurture a lifestyle. |
